Academy of Country Music and Grammy Award-Winning artist Bryan White will perform an intimate acoustic concert benefitting Williamson County’s DUI Court.
The event will kick off with a Charity Cake Auction followed by a performance by Bryan, himself a Williamson County resident. Known worldwide for such chart-topping hits as "Someone Else's Star,” "Rebecca Lynn," "I'm Not Supposed To Love You Anymore," and “God Gave You Me,” Bryan is celebrated for his heart-felt vocals and compelling songwriting.
He’s charted seventeen singles on Billboard’s Country Charts, had six number one singles, two platinum records, and two gold records. He joined forces with Shania Twain to take “From This Moment On” all the way up to number four on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart.
White has appeared on “The Tonight Show,” “Late Night with David Letterman,” NBC’s “The Today Show,” and “CBS This Morning.” Despite his musical success, an award from outside of the music arena is probably the best indicator of who White really is. People Magazine named Bryan one of its “50 Most Beautiful People” in the world, and everyone who knows him finds it easy to understand why.
White’s performance benefits the Williamson County DUI Court Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit that raises funds for the work of the DUI Court. Williamson County’s DUI Court is a recovery court program offering those charged with a 2nd or 3rd DUI the opportunity to enroll in an intensive year-long, court-supervised program involving mandatory jail time, weekly treatment appointments, drug testing, and recovery meeting attendance. Participants who complete the program are almost 20 times less likely to reoffend, making our roads and communities safer for everyone.

The voice behind the hit AlDub song "God Gave Me You," Bryan White has a special surprise for AlDub.
In his tweet on February 11, Bryan said he's still hard at work finishing a song especially dedicated to Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards.
He also asked his Twitter followers to support Maine in her bid to win as Favorite Pinoy Personality in the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards of Nickelodeon.
Bryan’s "God Gave Me You" is part of Alden Richards's platinum selling album under GMA Records. The Kapuso actor’s version of the romantic ballad has gotten more than 2.4 million views on YouTube.

It looks like the “AlDub” fever gets the better of Bryan White.
Bryan is the voice behind “God Gave Me You”, the song that has become a national anthem for the blossoming romance between actor Alden Richards and dubsmash queen Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza, the main stars of Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye.
The song was released in 1999, one of the tracks in Bryan’s fourth studio album ”How Lucky I Am.”

For a while now, AlDub fans have been tweeting the 41-year-old American country singer, expressing their fondness and appreciation for the song that captured the hearts of millions of Filipinos.
But Bryan, who goes by the Twitter handle @bryan_white, was first clueless about what the fans were gushing over.
On September 18, the day before the AlDub “Saturdate” took place, he asked: What is #ALDUB? A wedding?
“What is a love team? Forgive me for not knowing. Lol,” he asked again, hoping to be enlightened more. His question earned quite satisfying answers, much to the delight of the fans.

Longtime country music artist Bryan White played a heartfelt show in his home state Friday night.
White, 40, performed at the Simmons Center as part of the Chisholm Trail Arts Council’s CTAC Live concert series.
He’s a Lawton/Fort Sill native who grew up in a musical family. Throughout his career, White has had 17 singles on Billboard’s Country charts, six number-one singles, two platinum records and two gold records.
“I love music because it’s blind to color or gender,” he said. “It brings people together.”
White now lives in Nashville, Tennesee, but makes frequent stops in his home state. He took the stage at the Simmons Center last New Year’s Eve and attended the Lt. Governor’s Turkey Hunt in April.
“It’s always a privilege to come home, I’m glad to be back in Oklahoma,” he said. “I get calls to come to Oklahoma during the holidays.”
White performed some of his older tunes, music from his new album, “Shine,” and classic Christmas songs.
White performed the upbeat song “Sittin’ On Go,” and the more somber “I’m Not Supposed to Love You Anymore,” and “So Much for Pretending” from his 1997 album “Between Now and Forever,” as well as the newer “Dustbowl Dreams” inspired by a book about living in the Dustbowl.
“I re-connected with my roots and I’m a product of people who stuck it out,” White said. “I’m an Oklahoman.”
He also performed a Gospel-style tune, “Amen,” from his new album, and Christmas music, including “Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire” and “Our Savior Is Born.”
For one night only on October 29th the Maui Sugar Mill Saloon in Tarzana, CA was home to singer-songwriters Bryan White and Scotty Emerick as the final stop on a west coast run. Having seen these two long time best friends perform before I knew it would be magical and fun. The evening was presented by the California Country Show headed up by local artist country radio podcast host Dave Bernal. Dave keeps country music alive and well in Southern California.
Opening the evening was local Fullerton, CA country singer-songwriter Alice Wallace. Her sound is a mix of country, folk, blues and rock bringing to mind Bonnie Rait, Emmy Lou Harris and the twang of Loretta Lynn yet continuing to stay true to herself. Since the release of her debut album in 2011 Alice has gained national attention and praise for her uniqueness and style.
When I mentioned earlier that Bryan and Scotty together would be magical and fun I was right on the mark. The acoustic set was filled with stories, jabs, music and laughter. The respect these two friends have for one another is so evident and refreshing to see. Bryan treated the room to some of his hits, “Rebecca Lynn,” “So Much For Pretending,” “Sittin On Go” and “Amen” from his latest album release, “Shine.” Scotty sang some of his songwriting hits, “I Love This Bar,” “Beer For My Horses,” “Love Me Like My Dog,” “I Can’t Take You Anywhere” and a new song he has written (which I hope I am pardoned for possibly not getting the title correct. I got lost in the music and did not grab my note pad fast enough) “There’s No More Where That Came From.” It was small stage, but a big show.

Raising close to $35,000 on Kickstarter enabled Bryan White to release his first new album in almost five years. This project is a true labor of love for him. This is the seventh album for this handsome native of Lawton/Fort Sill, Oklahoma whose talent quotient is set to max. He has enjoyed a successful career for nearly two decades and regardless of which hat he may be wearing, be it producer, songwriter, or singer well, the end result, quite simply, allows him to Shine.
He has had seventeen singles on Billboard's Country Charts, six number one singles, two platinum records, two gold records, and who can forget “From This Moment On” when he joined forces with the dynamic beauty, Shania Twain. He has been awarded a Grammy, a CMA Horizon Award, the ACM Top Male Vocalist award, and People magazine named him one of their “fifty most beautiful people”. What you may not know is that his songwriting abilities helped put some of his famous peers on the charts. Sawyer Brown and Diamond Rio both made it to the top five slot with songs co-written by White and several other artists have recorded songs he's written; Wynonna, Love and Theft, and LeAnn Rimes, among them.
White says he has always been grateful for all he’s been given throughout the years but now looking back in retrospect, he is more grateful than he’s ever been before. He says that taking a career break allowed him to concentrate on his marriage to his beautiful wife, actress Erika Page White, and his two sons, Justin and Jackson. *“I found my true identity, not only as an artist and a songwriter, but as a human being. I realize now that life is an incredible gift and it’s meant to be lived on purpose and outwardly. Music is a gift and a great vehicle but it’s really about what happens beyond the music for me. What kind of legacy did I leave as a husband, as a father, and a friend?”
